TINY CITY PAINTINGS

I paint small, plein-air compositions in the hopes of catching and cataloging a moment in time.  The modern metropolis is an ever evolving landscape that offers dynamic vistas and abundant inspiration.  Whether it is the reflection of a cloud in the windows of a sky scraper or an antenna  array perched on the top of a building, there is  always a composition waiting to be realized.  While riding my bicycle with my painting equipment in a small backpack, I am able to explore and document these man made landscapes quite intimately.
